New Fast Track Mini Generation Scheme: ESB has announced a new pilot scheme allowing connection of inverters up to 17kw for single phase, and 50kw for 3 phase without a G10 relay. There is an application fee of €977.85 incl. VAT, and it is expected that in 10 weeks you would get approval stating what size system can be accommodated (you may be restricted to less than 17/50kw depending on local transformers)
The New Fast Track Mini Generation Schemes is open from now until mid-June with a limit of 150 applicants initially. The process also calls for export limitation equipment certificates and harmonic certificates.
We will be in touch with our commercial customer base over the next few weeks to look at the opportunity to expand existing installations
